SONY needed to completely refresh the perception of their technology. But more importantly, they needed to feel like a cool brand again with the next big thing in tech. They needed to be a part of the cultural conversation again. And that’s exactly what we delivered. 'THE WALKMAN HAS LANDED' is a platform we built around Plato, a blue alien that has come to Earth to attend college, and he’s brought with him cutting edge, future facing technology. The campaign was so successful it not only surpassed sales expectations, it spawned music videos. plush stuffed animals, and a television show.

We also developed a WALKMAN website, complete with music downloads and a “PLATOCAM” so you could follow the campus life of Plato. We also created, “WALKMANKIND,” a platform that allowed you to share and connect with others who are living the WALMAN lifestyle.
